A day of bloodshed here in Taiji, as a pod of striped dolphins were driven into the Cove. For 2 hours the dolphins could be seen stampeding and leaping clear out of the water in sheer panic as a formidable wall of sound pushed this family closer to their deaths. They traveled quickly and were at the entrance of the harbor when the pod split into two....

Today yet another pod of Risso’s dolphins were herded into the cove. The killers found the pod at 8:53am and by 11:30 they were trapped netted off awaiting slaughter....
Today the sky was dark and the clouds loomed over Taiji but unfortunately the seas were calm. The boats manned by dolphin killers went out in search of their next unsuspecting victim.....
Cove Guardians spotted the killing boats on the horizon just after 8:30 am. The "bangers" soon lined up into that all too familiar shape we know as,....
