After the pod of Pilot whales spent two days in the cove through rain and rough the seas with no food, the killers took the lives of 16 members.

Once in the cove the killers ran over the pod multiple times and tethered pod members to the side of the cove before they slaughtered. The slaughter of 15 Pilot whales was gruesome as pod members huddled close together while their family members as they suffered for over 30 minutes.

Once the killing in the cove was finished the killers drove the remaining pod members back out to sea, however, 1 pod member did not fair well and its dead body was dragged out to sea.
