This morning the killers hit the jackpot. They spotted a pod of approximately 9 - 11 Bottlenose dolphins and were quick to drive them into the killing cove.

The family raced from the deafening sounds that were torturing them as they swam for their lives. The killers wasted no time in corralling this terrified family unit into the shallow waters of the killing cove just North of Taiji town.

The barbaric killers manhandled these poor souls, showing them no dignity or respect as they violently shoved them under the cover of the tarps Lives were taken and captives were torn away from their family to live out their sorrowful existence in captivity.

Taken from the wild to perform circus tricks for human entertainment. This family will never be together again and the last moments of their freedom was spent huddled together for protection. They were reassuring each other and grew panicked as the minutes passed.

In total 7 were taken captive with 3 of them directly transferred to Dolphin Base via skiff and the other 4 taken to the harbor. Between 3 and 4 Bottlenose were slaughtered today.

There will be 7 very distraught dolphins who are calling out in vain to lost family and tonight they will spend their first night locked away held captive in facilities around Taiji.
