It was an extremely long day for the 75-80 Bottlenose dolphins that were held hostage overnight within the Cove.

The callous dolphin killers wasted no time in driving part of the frightened pod closer towards the deadly shores of the cove. A total of 10 Bottlenose dolphins were taken captive, dragged past their family members who were clambering on top of each other, terrified beyond belief.

The dolphin killers wearing wetsuits physically tackled the dolphins into submission. They wrestled them towards the skiffs where killers and trainers were waiting to ensnare them in a rudimental net sling then dragged them under tarps to be groped, poked and prodded for captive selection and a life of enslavement.

Many dolphins were run over by skiffs and pushed under the water. Mothers and babies were separated and the family unit was torn apart. They desperately clung together in fear. The panic could be felt as their freedom was snatched away, no longer in charge of their destiny.

This horror continues tomorrow, as the rest of the pod will be held for a second night.
